About the Program

The Kotak Suraksha Scholarship Program 2024-25, an initiative by Kotak Securities, is designed to offer financial support to deserving PwD (Persons with Disabilities) students in India to help them pursue their education and achieve their academic goals. Under this scholarship program, PwD students in Classes 9 to 12 in India are eligible to receive scholarship up to INR 1,00,000 per year.

Eligibility

·         Open to PwD (Persons with Disabilities) students.

·         Applicants must be studying in Classes 9 to 12.

·         Applicants must have secured at least 55% marks in their previous academic year.

·         Annual family income of applicant should not be more than INR 3,20,000.

·         PAN India applicants are eligible.

·         Children of employees of Kotak Securities, its affiliates and Buddy4Study are not eligible.

 

Benefits:

Scholarship up to INR 50,000 per year


NoteThe scholarship amount includes tuition fees, hostel fees, mess fees, travel expenses, books, stationery, devices/data, etc. Additionally, the scholarship covers expenses related to supporting disabilities, ensuring a comprehensive approach to fostering educational advancement for PwD students.

 

Documents

  •  Proof of identity (Aadhaar card/ Ration card/ Voter’s id card).
  •   Current year admission proof (fee receipt/admission letter/institution identity card/Bonafide certificate).
  • Class 9 to 12 marksheets
  • Previous academic year marksheets
  • Recent photograph 
 Family income proof (of one of them):

  • Income proof issued by Gram Panchayat (signed and stamped)
  • Income proof issued by Block Office / Tehsildar/BDP (for rural areas)
  • Certificate from concerned authorities for person having income from agriculture, horticulture and veterinary sources
  • Certificate from concerned authorities for person having income from agriculture, horticulture and veterinary sources
  •  Last three months’ salary slips/ITR/Form 16
  • BPL/Ration Card
  • Bank account details of applicant or parent
