Job description

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Developer.

In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in Java. You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including elicitation, application architecture, definition and design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Los Angeles, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

·         At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

·         Experience in Java, Python

Preferred Qualifications

·         At least 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Java/ Python Coding.

·         Strong Experience in Python and Shell scripting since it will be required for custom components integration within Alveo Platform.

·         Experience in Asset Management and Security Master platform (Alveo) development and support

·         Alveo (FE) experience is Preferred.

·         AWS experience/Certification is Preferred.

·         Should be able to develop components independently

·         Experience with SQL is must

·         Must be open to do Production releases and Support.

·         Financial Market experience is desirable.
