SNTI invites application for Apprenticeship Training 2023-24

ELIGIBILITY:
1. Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent examination having passed in all subjects with minimum aggregate marks of 70% (60% for SC/ST candidates). Must have English, Science and Mathematics as subjects in Matriculation or Equivalent examination. (9.5 x CGPA = % Marks, if applicable)
2. Age : The candidate must have been born between 01-Mar-2005 and 01-Sept-2008 (including these two dates). Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates must have been born between 01-Mar-2004 and 01-Sept-2008 (including these two dates).
3. Physical Fitness
- Height: 152 cm. (for girls 142 cm)
- Expansion of Chest: 5 cm
- Eyesight 6/6 in both eyes with glass
- Colour Vision: Normal
- Weight: 45 Kg. (for girls 40 Kg.)
- Power of Glasses ± 4.0 maximum
4. Domicile State of Odisha
Stipend, Training and Employment Details:
- a) The candidates on selection will be provided Apprenticeship Training at SNTI.
- b) Candidates will be registered in Apprenticeship Portal and get a stipend during training period as specified in the Apprentices Act, provided the performance and conduct is found satisfactory.
- c) Allocation of Trade and Duration of Training: Allotment of trades will be based on merit of the candidate in the interview (written test and matriculation marks will be considered in case of common marks in interview). The training duration will be of 2 years based on the attendance and individual module pass marks (governed by training reference manual).
- d) The Apprentices Training Programme is a compliance requirement as governed by the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and its latest amendments and is not a guarantee for employment.
- e) On successful completion of the training and on being successfully awarded the National Apprenticeship Certificate on clearing the All-India Trade Test (AITT), in case of vacancy, the candidate will be appointed only on rolls of TSTSL (Tata Steel Technical Services Limited) at any location.

Admit Card will be released on 8th April 2024.
Centre Based Written Test will be conducted on 15th April 2024
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- 1. Last Date of submission of online Application: 25th March 2024.
- 2. No hard copy document to be submitted. All required documents to be attached in the online application, in absence of which the application may be rejected.
- 3. The candidate needs to pay the required charges as quoted in the advertisement (Rs. 500/-) to be eligible for taking the assessment. Please make the payment through Online Payment Gateway in the application only.
- 4. Fees once paid in any case will not be refunded.
- 5. If found to be ineligible at any stage of the selection process or during the training, the candidate will not be considered for apprenticeship or the training will be terminated, as the case may be.
- 6. All communication will be done over the registered e-mail id. TSL will not be responsible in case of non-receipt of any e-mail due to sync issues or wrong e-mail id.
- 7. Admit card can be downloaded from the examination portal. Date of releasing the admit card which will also contain the date of examination will be communicated over your registered e-mail id. Delayed response in viewing the mail will not be entertained.
- 8. All necessary documents will be verified on the day of interview for candidates selected in the written test.
SELECTION PROCESS:
- Selection will be done based on Centre Based Online Written Test followed by Personal Interview and Medical Examination.
