Digital Bharat Collaborative (DBC), a
part of Piramal Foundation, supports the government to transform the
public health care system by building a robust digital delivery platform
that ensures availability and accessibility of quality healthcare for all.
Through this, we seek to enhance experiences of citizens in accessing
government health services at the last mile.
This role will be responsible for but
not limited to the following:
- Examine patients of age more than 40years for
Visual acuity, color vision and suggest correction of refractive errors if
detected.
- Screening of Diabetic and Hypertensive
patients for any eye care diseases.
- Conducts Eye screening camps at the identified
service points as per the roster.
- Examine for visual acuity, color vision,
diagnose cases of refractive errors and referral of cases if required to
the nearest govt eye care clinic for Further management.
- Liaison with local health authorities for
referral and follow up of beneficiaries.
- Maintain details of the examined patients in
the ophthalmic register.
- Conduct periodic Eye screening camps as
required.
- Able to Perform slit lamp, Fundoscopic
examination to rule out eye diseases.
- Prescribes spectacles for correction of
Refractive errors in the school children and dispenses the prescribed
spectacles.
- Takes care of Ophthalmic drugs and consumables
indent periodically.
Qualification &
Experience:
- Diploma in optometry (Essential)/ Bachelors of
optometry (Desirable)
Skills:
- Good Communication Skills Time Management
- Sound knowledge on Clinical Part
