 Qualification:

• Candidates should have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent
• The applicant must be able to speak, read and write the Bengali language.

 

Physical Measurement:

Male :

• Candidates of all categories: 167 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm)), 57 Weight (in kg), 78 cms Chest (without expansion), 83 cms Chest (with expansion – 5 cms)
• Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes: 160 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm)), 53 Weight (in kg), 76 cms Chest (without expansion), 81 cms Chest (with expansion – 5 cms)

Female:

• Candidates of all categories: 160 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm)), 49 Weight (in kg)
• Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes: 152 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm)), 45 Weight (in kg)

Third Gender :

• Candidates of all categories: 163 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm)), 52 Weight (in kg)
• Gorkhas, Garhwalies, Rajbanshis and Scheduled Tribes: 155 (Height (Barefoot) (in cm)), 48 Weight (in kg)

 

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2024):

• Minimum Age Limit: must not be less than 18 years
• Maximum Age Limit: must not be more than 30 years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

 

Application Fee:

• All categories of WB: Rs. 170/- (Application Fee: Rs. 150/-+Processing Fee: Rs. 20/-)
• For SC/ ST of WB: Rs. 20/- (Processing Fee only)
